Lou Engle: Standing for genocide?

Evangelist Lou Engle, who is a close associate of Brown’s, appeared at the July 2009 “God Has a Better Way” event. Since that time, Charlotte-area locals have established a Charlotte satellite of his “International House of Prayer” ministry.

Engle has also since that time involved his ministry, “TheCall,” in several initiatives in the African nation of Uganda. His ministry’s appearance in the nation occurred at the same time lawmakers there were debating a bill that would have imposed harsh prison sentences and capital punishment upon gay and lesbian citizens there.

Despite telling American audiences he would not be supporting the harsh Ugandan “Kill The Gays” bill, as activists called it, once in Uganda Engle came out in favor of the legislation and those lawmakers supporting it.
